Welcome to JAHM Chai Tots Preschool, where every child grows to their fullest potential!

Chai Tots is named for Jo Ann Hess Morrison, of blessed memory. Jo Ann was the visionary behind our preschool, and it is thanks to her that our preschool doors are open today.

Our mission at Chai Tots is to nurture and educate children in from 18 months through Pre-Kindergarten.

Our curriculum blends secular and Judaic subjects into a program that is rich, fulfilling and stimulating. We cater to each child's individual physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs.

At Chai Tots, we appreciate and foster the individuality of each child, while encouraging the importance of community.   As early childhood educators, we keep our program on the cutting-edge, constantly updating to keep pace with new developments in the field.

We teach computers, pre-reading, math, language, art, drama, dance and more.  At Chai Tots, we focus on practical skills to help our students in everyday life. All of this, of course, with a special dedication to developing a warm, caring, sensitive child- in a word: a mentsch.

The children learn about the Mitzvot, develop a Hebrew vocabulary, sing Hebrew songs, and learn stories from the Torah. We celebrate Shabbat – and bake challah to take home – and learn about all the Jewish holidays. Our focus on Jewish identity and the joy of being a Jew runs through our entire program.
